Those are all great pics of hanging dogs. I hope I can get my boys (two chocolate labs and my human son) to hang with me as well.

Brilliant! I go backpacking/camping with my lab http://bit.ly/Tsx6oi all the time and now that I'm just getting in to "hanging" I wondered what I would do with her. At 75 lbs she is too big I believe to be in the hammock with me and I would have felt awful making her sleep on the ground (some of you just rolled your eyes). I think this is what I'll do.

How long did it take for her to get use/trained to the hammock?

Oh...and do you have a problem with her nails damaging the hammock and what hammock did you get for her? Thank you!

Sweet I've been looking for something for my dog.

Great, but if my dog got in the hammock there wouldn't be room for me.

I'm out - I had the conversation - I traded her sewing help to make a dog solution for Rugby vs going. She said dog booties and a bag of some sort.
There was an Old Man with a owl,

He sat on a rail, And imbibed bitter ale,
Which refreshed that Old Man and his owl

    Oregon,

Here is a video clip of her getting in. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FIRir...109376&index=1

It took a couple of fall outs for her to figure out that she has to "fall" into the hammock and can not walk on it like solid ground. But she is 9 years old and over the years she has gained my trust in doing what ever I ask of her.

Her nails have not been an issue with the Eno yet. The hammock is just a extra Eno I had after I bought my wife a WBBB. The only problem I have seen is she is like all of us and I have a hard time "commanding" her to get out of it.

My buddy Pacho and I were out at Wolf Pen Rec area in Arkansas with a few other forum guys a couple weeks back so as the temps started to drop a bit I jumped in the Blackbird and before I could get settled old Pacho the pound pup was standing on his hind legs making sure I hadnt forgotten room for him. His 10 lbs sure can make a positive difference in the warm department.
