===> I have little bag for them now, but I used to use a tall can from Crystal Light individual servings. Lots-o-dual use containers in the supermarket!

Just made a little ripstop nylon bag out of scrap to put mine in. Made it out of bright red nylon so I would be less likely to misplace it.

I almost posted my marinade recipe.

I have a pocket in my pack that fits my stakes perfectly.

I have a pouch made out of some thick paper wrapped in duct tape.. its about 5" tall and bigger than a need but all my stakes are clean and so is my bag... And it doesn't poke holes through my pack...

Pouch made from a Tyvek envelope and wrapped with ducktape. I wrap about 20 feet extra tape on there, too, in case I catch Yogi swiping picanic baskets.

    Stakes, not steaks.
You got me all hungry with your title.

I just clip whatever stakes I'm taking to a biner and clip it to my pack. I usually tuck them into one of the side pockets to keep them from banging around.
    Trust nobody!

My steaks go in my belly after they are a nice medium rare. My stakes go in a small ripstop stake bag I made as my first sewing project.
