    Video: Finally Finished the Foothills Part 1

    Since I had some time off from work and school, I tried for a solo thru hike on the Foothills Trail 76.2miles from Oconee State Park to Table Rock State Park in South Carolina. The trip plan was for 3.5 days due to daylight and weather. That's what it took but with some surprises along the way. Part one...enjoy.

    Part 1 was wonderful, I feel the same as you, love the hiking and the outdoors, would rather be in the bed next too the one I love. Looking forward to the next installment.

    Looks like a good time for the trip. Was that a GPS I saw on your left packstrap? I like the grill and the Christmas lights.

    The FHT is a beautiful trail, for sure.

    Thanks for the shout-out; Mrs. FLRider and I are doing just fine. We're actually going to be up that way over the weekend for Christmas, in Helen, GA.
