I did the west Rim Trail last May with some buddies and there were always enough trees in the campgrounds. It was amazing! And I am jealous of you.

Depending on where in Zion you should have no problems hanging. In the official campground trees may be too far apart depending on which site you get, but they wont be too big like might happen in Oregon.
I've never ever had a problem hanging in any national park but truth be told I was a ground dweller when in Zion.....well speaking of NP's, in 2 months I'll be in Death Valley and I see NO natural hanging options there
It all depends on where you are. Telescope peak is about 13,000' and is in the park. Lots of trees on the west side. Lots of cool, down right cold this time of year, hiking around there. I never got up the peak though.
I will be there this July. Thanks for the info. I will bring my hammock.
