Had to Abort Mission! Extreme wind!

About the highest winds that I have been through was about 40mph. With gust higher. Had my Kelty 9, in a diamond. About half way down the edge, from the ridge to the ground, it has tie-outs, and I used them also, mason line whoopies. Not the greatest, but the extra lines kept the tarp from flying loose. The worst part, it was a scout camp out, in a field. Nowhere to really get out of the wind. It was a cool night, last fall, and because of the wind, I was chilled most of the night. Just couldn't get warm.......RR

I Hate wind ... i have a fear of trees falling on me ever since one almost did
so i get freaked out if i'm out in the wind
most wind i had to hang in was 40-50MPH ... needless to say i didn't sleep much that night
If i'm out and the wind picks up i just deal with it but i don't like it
