    back to the cold

Well, after purchasing a few nice pieces of gear to keep me warm, I was excited to come back to Alberta for the holidays. To see family and friends of course, but also to try out some new gear in colder weather. Up until now, I have been dealing with temps right around freezing. Cold , yes, but not REALLY cold. Was hoping to hang at my brothers farm and show the kids how its done. 20* incubator and burrow, with the addition of an 1/8" foamy. BUT with the wind here, it is close to -25* F .... too cold for me to even try tying the superfly up going to have to wait till next year I guess , and buy some 4 season stuff on the plus side, my new puppy is a POWDER hound for sure she loves the white stuff. Happy holidays and happy hanging everyone

That's the pinnacle cold testing ground! Quite the place to give a go with 20 degree gear.
