    Need help, ideas.

Hi guys , my secret Santa passed along some 40 feet of Amsteel. Now I'm not much of a DIY'r yet. I have whoopies on my ENO DN already. Should I make another set or something else? And if its something else any ideas. I want it to be something I can use each time I hang.

I carry a couple amsteel dogbones with me, in case my suspension doesn't quite reach. I also carry a pair of continuous loops in case the trees are too close for my whoopie slings. If you dont' already have it an adjustable ridgeline is nice.

Could play with UCRs. If nothing else it is always nice to have an extra set of whoopie slings around the house for that next hammock.

Soft shackles and dog bones. The soft shackles can be used instead of carabiners and the dog bones can be used as extensions.

My DoubleNest has dogbones (that are then biner'd on to whoopies)...any leftover Amsteel with me always get turned into Dogbones unless it's enough for at least one whoopie.

Soft shackles, continuous loop extenders, new adjustable ridgeline, unbreakable dog/child leash, bear bag line, the list goes on!
I got in a fight one time with a really big guy, and he said, "I'm going to mop the floor with your face." I said, "You'll be sorry." He said, "Oh, yeah? Why?" I said, "Well, you won't be able to get into the corners very well."

Thanks for the ideas, now to hunt up how to make them. I'm thinking of an adjustable ridgeline.

That's a great idea Raifnuke, I will bring it with me. I see my first DIY project being done under the helpful eye of the gang.
