Fantastic idea! I think you are about to find yourself quite busy with this new endeavor.
I'm planning on modding one of my old down sleeping bags but I may end up needing one of your shells if I muck it up too bad...
I wish you the utmost of luck and I hope all the extra work doesn't keep you off the trails too much.

Thanks jtupsmoke - I'll be prettying up the permalinks as soon as I can.
I got in a fight one time with a really big guy, and he said, "I'm going to mop the floor with your face." I said, "You'll be sorry." He said, "Oh, yeah? Why?" I said, "Well, you won't be able to get into the corners very well."

Thanks gunner, I kinda kidnapped the idea and ran away with it.

Thanks Dangler - I'm already busy squaring things away. I still have a lot to learn.

Good luck to you with the sleeping bag. I've done some and it does work well.

I'll be at the Mt. Rogers hang, so that should cure me of winter hanging for a few months till spring. Been told the Mt. Rogers hang is not for the faint of heart and it's REALLY cold there.

As soon as I saw the store was up and running yesterday. I went to Dave's website and ordered a full length under quilt shell. Unfortunately I was a little slow on the trigger and his exsisting stock was already sold out. Dave emailed me straight away and as a result I am #1 on the list when his new shipment of material arrives in a few days. I'm psyched and excited.

Poppabear - you are confirmed NUMBER 1 on my list! What was it you wanted again? -- just kidding.....

I now have the full length down fill chart in the "Finishing The UQ section". I'll be getting rid of the ugly torso length chart today.
