Underquilt suspension theory discussed

What I did was put button holes on the hammock edges at the points I don't want the quilt to go beyond... Attack to holes with mitten hooks. That positions it nicely. Keeping it snug on the ends is where I get stuck.
With the IX compression isn't an issue but if it drops away it forms cold spots. Perhaps a cord from the center of the end channel to the gathered end.

I did something like that back in 2003 to attach a poncho liner underquilt in Iraq to my Hennessy.
