    Another yes on the ridge line and drip-stoppers. I wouldn't feel safe with paracord. Amsteel whoopies are a joy. I really like my nano, I had a similar asym tarp, I later upgraded to a lighter one (spinnaker fabric) of similar size and recently bought a much larger cuben tarp. Same weight, twice as large, I like the safety factor if the weather is dicey.

    You were warned earlier to run for your life and it appears you ignored fair warning. This stuff is highly addictive.

    Answer to question 1 ridgelines are good for hanging water bottles and other essentials like keys.
