I have an older singlenest and a newer one. Enjoy them both. When I bought the new one abouth a month ago I noticed they have remedied the craptastic heavy biners with new, lighter wire gate biners. We will have to wait and see how that works out(not sure of their quality) but it does cut the weight nicely.

my ENO has treated me well for years. I don't tend to carry it for long backpacking though. My homemade one is every bit as comfortable (if not as roomy), and literally 1/3 the weight and ~1/4 the pack size. Still, when you're not carrying the thing, I don't mind the extra room, or the softer, more plush taffeta. Also, a big +1 to replacing the stock suspension, I'm still amazed they use the one they do.

The carabiners are the first things to go on my ENOs I ended up looping whoopies straight through the gathered ends. I love the side pocket to keep books in when I'm lounging!

I enjoy mine, but I can't wait to get a Dream or Meck hammock. Still trying to decide! I switched out the rope and binders. The slaps traps are crap. Crazy amounts of stretch. What I bought when I knew nothing about hammocking...

My ENO Doublenest has been very good to me. On those cold drafty nights I use the extra fabric on the doublenest to turn my hammock into a raccoon.

Nothing like a racoon to keep you warm at night.

Nothing like a good chuckle before bedtime. I got a visual in my head & couldn't stop laughing.

Yes, the material is taffeta or the like, as opposed to ripstop.

I love my Dream Hammocks. I have had one in taffeta and three in ripstop. I prefer the ripstop & I love the new Hyper D fabric for an inside layer.
