This, the 2013 Arkansas Ozarks Hang, will be one of lasting memories. From first hangs to "just one more" hang, short drive in or multi day trip. Meeting old and making new friends is what it is all about for hangers after a good nights sleep above ground. So many to thank for their contributions this year. Sorry for those that couldn't come and those who had to leave early. Until we hang again, stay safe.

Hope that wasn't us either. I called myself triple checking. We're still out and have one more day today to spend on the water. Hopefully (or not) back to work Thursday. It was great meeting old and making new friends and can't wait to do it again.
Hmmm, curious about what Lucky found now. I policed up my area pretty well even though it was pouring down buckets. I don't think I left anything but a dry spot where my ground cloth was laying. I did pick up a single black leather shoe and put it on a post in case someone dropped it and would find it when they packed out.
BTW; SmokeHouse put on a Hoot of a Hang! I had a great time meeting new folks and seeing old friends again.
oh man. What a great trip. The hike in from Boxley was cool. The hang was a blast. Met some new friends, caught up with some old friends and ate some great food. Gimpy and I left in the rain on Sunday to finish the trail. Let me tell you all....The trail was awesome on the way out. There were so many waterfalls and crossings, it was amazing. I'll throw together some pics in the next day or two.

Thanks for the great weekend. I only found small bits of trash which anyone would not have noticed and was probably there before we were. The goodie I found was one small LED light. It will probably be lost in my glove box from now on. I did check the trees for straps and did not see anything.
