    Exclamation Franklin North Carolina Help

I need help from someone's help who lives close to Franklin, NC.

Free Home and I will be hiking the Bartram Trail starting the Friday after Christmas (12/27/13). We are looking for someone to shuttle us from Wallace Branch Trailhead to Buckeye Creek Trailhead. We should be at the Wallace Branch Trailhead for pick up (after hiking the Northern section) either Saturday night (12/28/13) around 7pm or Sunday morning (12/29/13) by 7am.

This would cut out the ~15 mile road walk out which would allow us to finish the NC section by Sunday late afternoon.

The directions (according to the map) takes us from PressleyRd to Roller Mill Rd. to Beldon Circle Rd. to Wide Horizon Rd. to Prentiss Bridge Rd. to Clark's Chapel Rd. to Hickory Knoll Rd. to Tessentee Rd. to Buckeye Branch Rd.

If someone can help, please let me know on here and I'll PM you with my contact information. We can discuss compensation at that time.

If you don't get this worked out on here, let me know. I have a friend who runs a Christian retreat center near Bryson City, NC who may be able to help out. It is possible that they will be out of town for the holidays, though.

Thank you for the insight. I'd like to avoid an official hiker shuttle due to high cost. Though I'll leave them as a last chance if no one else would be willing to barter or help for a lower cost.

Free Home will not be able to make this trip. I'm now looking for a ride from Franklin to Winding Stair Trailhead near the NOC. I would be greatful for a ride Saturday night around 8pm. If anyone is available to help shuttle me, I'd be supper grateful. I'd be happy to offer you some financial assistance too.

If worse comes to worst, you could start hiking from Franklin on 64 toward Winding Stair Gap. There always seems to be good Samaritans traveling that way that will offer you a lift.
