I stumbled upon "Hammocking" and this Forum as a result of putting together 72 Hour kits for my family. Shelter options i.e., conventional ground tents, are often someone's first choice. I did my "ground time" in the Military and in younger days sleeping hard surface wasn't really a point of concern. However, while looking for alternative methods, I came across a YouTube of "Shug" and things just clicked! (No blame Shug, just appreciation for your talent and insight). Did diligence and wound up purchasing a combination of 2 Hammock designs. The Black Bird - Camo, Chrysalis Bridge, along with a Claytor Camo Diamond Rain Fly and recently started suspension mods/upgrades. This past month I have experienced a wealth of knowledge shared openly by this Forum, which speaks highly of its membership. I feel it will be my pleasure and a privilege to be associated with this group. Thanks...
