    Nobul1 Fabric

Has anyone made a hammock from the Nobul1 fabric from Titanium Goat? From reading other posts, it looks like others have used M50 to make a single layer hammock. I was wondering if the Nobul1 would perform the same since they are both 10D fabrics. I am buying some for a bivy project anyway, and since the stuff doesn't cost much more than 1.1 oz material, I figured it might be worth a shot. I am 5'11" and 165 lbs. Thanks

Let me know if it works out. I bet it woud be fine as a double layer, but your on the edge with a single layer, medicine man post a video of a gathered end from M55 which is a ripstop version of nobul fabric. I am not sure of any others out there trying it yet.

I've been pondering the same thing lately. I have a hammock I made out of M50 but it got a tear in it, not sure how. I would like to make another but M50 is expensive so I started thinking about trying the Nobul. And, like 2Tall, I wanna make a sock out of it.

Someone did make a double layer out of it. Not sure how it's working out for them. To be honest I don't have high hopes for it as a single layer hammock but I say it's worth a shot. After all we wouldn't have M50 hammocks if someone (Neutron I think) wouldn't have said " Aw what the hell, why not?....."

Man, now that you got me thinking about it I may go ahead and order some and find out.

I've built a couple double layer hammocks and a couple WinterSocks using this fabric. No feedback yet from the recipient. Not sure if that's a good thing or bad thing.

The fabric itself is not terribly bad to work with if you take your time and go slow.
