Ive hung in the woods every weekend since Oct 1st, only because I'm recently divorced and can now do what I want, I've killed 3 deer, 37 squirrels, 2 wild pigs and caught probably 100 fish mostly crappie , I'm in north Louisiana, so far I've been down to 27 deg in my hammock.

ETA: First Hammock ever bought was in Oct. Now I hang in my bedroom every night.

About 3 times this year. All toward the end of the year, as a result of giving the job a middle finger and focusing on building a business. This next year at least once a month. But got the fiance a pack for Christmas so...may end up out there even more!

I was out 25 weekends.(I kept track in a pocket journal). A couple of 10 day or longer trips. 4 week long trips. I was shooting for 26 weekends so I'll have to make that the goal again in 2013. ben (my dog) did 21 trips with me. My best backpacking year ever! A few tent times, a lean-to trip but mostly hammock trips. Oh and one cowboy trip where I slept on the ground under the stars.
I like refried beans. That's why I wanna try fried beans, because maybe they're just as good and we're just wasting time. You don't have to fry them again after all.

Many times in the backyard and about 10 overnights since June.

But I retire January 28th, and after that, look out!

I think I was able to pull off about 45 nights total for the year. I will probably be able to pull off a little less this year due to some changes coming up.

Don't know, guess I should have kept track? More than some, less than others.

Next year, hopefully more than the previous. Currently planning trips to Savage Gulf, Yellowstone, Wind River Mtns and Quetico for 2013, in addition to the usual weekenders. If i get to make 3 of them it should be a great year!
