Just a idea... I haven't tried this yet, but I think attaching an old fashion wooden clothes pin (squeeze type with a spring) upside down to the whoopie sling cord right before it attaches to the hammock would be a helpful way to help prevent water from flowing on to your hammock. The compression of the cord by the clothes pin would impede the flow of water further down the cord, and would then channel it down to run off the ends of the two downward hanging "arms" of the clothes pin. Worth a try? What do you think?
