DuctTape, you've got sense. If you've got the Adirondacks in your backyard you don't need to go anywhere else. The same logic is keeping me mostly in West Virginia, but I sure miss the 'daks.

I belong to an outdoor club in Tulsa, and we are planning a number of outings for this year, the first of which will be the Sandstone Castles near Witts Springs in Arkansas early February.

We plan to hike the Eagle Rock Loop In the Ouachita National Forest later in February.

I've also signed on for a week long canyoneering trip to Zion National Park in June which should be fairly exciting!

Im planning a dolly sods trip with my brother for late May.

We're staying at PATC's Argow Cabin in Shennandoah NP early next month.

I also want to get my brother out for a section of the AT--Pearisburg to Daleville, maybe something a bit shorter.

And I'm also doing another week with Konnarock doing some trail work this summer--fun stuff.

Hoping to do a 7day Canoe trip over summer.

Aside from that, I want to explore most of Californias woods. Schedule is set to do an overnighter every other week.

Texas Water Safari in June for me. It's a 260 mile canoe race that must be completed in 100 hours or less. I'm planning to hang when we stop each night for a couple hours of sleep.
