What hikes, hangs or adventure do you have planned for 2013

My wife and I just ran into our mission pastor from church we told him its our 30th anniversary this coming year.We told him we would like to do something special he asked if we like hammocks my wife laughed said I had about 8 hammocks so pastor Phil said he wanted someone to go to the brazil and meet up with missionaries that are there. We would go up the Amazon to a village and help with some work that needs to be done. Not sure how much backpacking will be involved but it sounds like a great way to spend our anniversary together Love The Lord and Adventure! Will let you know how this comes out .

Lots of family camping, but I will start on without them in April. I am organizing a 'mom only' hike in the Stratton pond area for April vacation. I can't wait!

We will also be organizing a bushcraft/survival trip in the spring before the bugs come out in full force.

I'm hoping to also hike more with the boy scouts since our youngest is old enough to tag along. After Mt Greylock last year I think he can handle most anything the scouts are doing!
Chase your dreams without fear or hesitation!

Return trip to the Irish Wilderness in Missouri; spend a day and a half along the Eleven Point river fishing for small mouth bass. Then I'd like to do a summer 3 or 4 day hike with my son who recently started backpacking with me.

Next, I'm intent on taking each of my children on an over nighter, one by one.

Finally, I want to do some hiking with some new friends I've met here on the forum. Until recently I've always, fished, hunted, and hiked along with the noted exception of my children but I've enjoyed the few hangs I've been on with some of the guys on the forum.

I doubt it'll be in 2013 but I would like to do a special hike in some really neat looking place like out west in the mountains or possibly to the South East in the Smokies. I've seen the pictures many of you have posted and those places look so great. Don't get me wrong, I love Missouri but the view is pretty much the same where ever you go in the state.

    - Backpacking in Rocky Mountain National Park.
    - Raft camping down the Arkansas river.
