So, are we camping at the top or the bottom of Panther Creek Falls? I plan on hiking in via East Cowpen, which will end at the top of the falls. I'm also planning to arrive Friday afternoon. Anyone else with similar plans?

There is a big area with lots of trees on the north side of Panther Creek a few hundred feet upstream from the falls that would make a good spot for several people to camp, hopefully you lucky ones getting there friday can grab that spot for the group. I do hope a can make this one.
