1.1 down proof ripstop with 550fp???

Used the so called 550fp down from Kmart pillows to stuff newly made UQ. Performance has been great. I am starting to see a bit of down fibrers leaking through what is supposed to be downproof 1.1 ripstop nylon. Might that have something to do with to 550fp vs using a higher fp down such as 850?

I use the down pillows for fill in friends underquilts made with 1.1 ripstop down-proof seconds. They get small feathers poking thru all the time when they're packed/unpacked. I had commercial down sleeping bags bleed feathers also. I think it's normal as the 550 down feathers are larger, thus they're able to poke thru. A few feathers isn't a big deal - if it's a lot of feathers then I would be concerned.
I got in a fight one time with a really big guy, and he said, "I'm going to mop the floor with your face." I said, "You'll be sorry." He said, "Oh, yeah? Why?" I said, "Well, you won't be able to get into the corners very well."

I have the same thing with my DIY UQ. I used the K-Mart $10 down pillow. Some leakage but not bad enough to worry about.
