Loving the trees

Hello from Northwestern Ontario!
My bosses son bought a Hennessy Hammock last spring and showed it to me half hung from their fence. A couple of weeks later, after doing a lot of reading, I bought two Explorer Deluxe hammocks at a big sale here (my wife didn't know she was going to be trying hammock camping until hers was set up for her). The kids just got their own Scout Hammock for Christmas, and now there is another Scout and a Cub being ordered so everyone has their own.
I'm hoping to try mine out in January to see how I can handle the cold with my current gear.

Welcome to the forum, from Ohio. So glad to hear someone else getting their family out there...and including the kids. I'm just not seeing enough of that and I think that is wonderful!!

Camping is a way of life up here. We're literally in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by boreal forest and a quarter million lakes and rivers. Luckily the kids love it almost as much as we do. We just have to figure out the dogs with the hammocks now.
