    Gutermann Thread Mara 100

Picked up some Gutermann thread on line.

100% polyester 1,000 meter spools Mara 100. Got 10 spools for about $25.

Figured I either got a good deal or I now have a bunch of practice thread. Either way it's got to be better than the stuff sold at Wallyworld

Sounds like a good deal! Mind if I ask from where?

Mara 100 is much more than a "practice" thread and the price sounds fair.

but your next buy from Charles Zarit....

might be the heavier, stronger, and Tex 40 house- brand polyester core thread, which should be stronger, more UV resistant, more abrasion resistant, and $6.95 for 6000 yards.

(Also, notice some of the novelties: hooks and snaps, in particular)
