Where do you carry your WBRR spreader bars?

I haven't seen any mention of where everyone likes to carry the spreader bars for the WBRR.

Any opinions on the best place to prevent damage to bars or pack?

I'll be carrying a ULA Circuit.

Where to put the spreader bars is my bigggest complaint with bridge hammocks. Poles in general, including tent poles, are just a pain to pack when you really want to get things compact.

The best ive found is to attach them to the outside of the bag, preferably to a daisy chain if the pack has them with something like the JRB pole sack. You can also put them in the water bottle side pockets and clamp down on them with the compression straps, but you have to watch out for wearing a hole through the bottom of the pocket.

I place the WBRR poles inside my cozie under the outside compression straps of the ULA OAM. Hope this pic comes through, if so you can see the poles on the right side of the pack...

I made a pole bag so the short section can't get lost. I carry it in an exterior side pocket under the compression straps of my Golite Jam pack.

Inside my ULA Catalyst in the custom Cuben sack. Takes up minimal space. I like the outside of my pack to be streamline with less items to snag.

I use a JRB spreader bar storage bag. I'll throw my stakes, spreader bars, andsometimes even my straps. The daisy chain makes it easy to run the backpacks compression straps through.

Yep, those JRB pole bags have a whole row of attach points.

Thanks for all of the responses. I can see I need a pole bag. I don't want to lose the short section.
