Hello all! Just wanted to drop in and officially say hi. New to not only the forum, but hammocks as well. I was walking through my local REI recently and came across the ENO section, and immediately started daydreaming about streamlined motorcycle camping. I was looking to get a complete setup from them, when I found this forum researching which double to get. Fast forward a week or two, now I've ordered a couple tablecloths instead. Always been a DIY kind of guy. Now I need to order the materials for a bugnet, and I'll probably order a hennessy hex to go over it all.

Welcome aboard from the Newark area. I didn't start with the tablecloth hammock, but that is where I ended up due to the comfort . There is an Ohio hang the end of this month, just check the trip planning area for the information. You're more than welcome to come, even if your still ground dwelling at the time to learn some different setups, get hints and tricks, meet some great people, and talk gear.

Thanks all! In Cincy area myself. If I can get everything together in time, the hang at the end of the month sounds great. I'm no stranger to DIY, just this area. I make my own beer, cheese, longbows, arrows, quivers, etc. Love the pride that comes with a project well completed. Anywho, I have a few questions regarding what/how much material to buy for these projects, think I'm gonna start a new thread in DIY.
