I've decided to sell my Katadyn Base Camp water filter. It works perfectly for what it is, but I'm moving more towards UL trips and this is just too bulky for me. I'm hoping to pick up a Sawyer Squeeze instead.
The bag and all the parts are in perfect condition, but the original filter cartridge has been used in some particularly silty water (Red Creek in Dolly Sods) and has since started slowing down a bit. I've flushed it a few times and the flow is almost back to normal but this cartridge is probably on the way out... Which is why I'm including a brand new, in plastic wrapper, filter cartridge. Since the cartridge came with some extras I'm also including the two cleaning sponges, pre-filters, and silicone sealant tubes; one of each that came with the filter and one of each that came with the new cartridge.
