    Very nice

I have been looking for something like the dp Heeter Hybrid Hammock.

It would be great for my father. He could use it for taking nap when in the woods. Everything else I have been thinking of is too complicated - he would not probably carry and use those.

I like the use of synthetic insulation it is care free compared to down. Not many manufacturers use synthetic - nice touch!

Sad thing is it is my "do not buy any gear february", but maybe at march then...

Sorry that I have no pictures to share (YET) I had this set up in my yard, with stock suspension that came with it. I left it up for 2 nights of light to heavy rain. I noticed a little bit of stretching going on, and it got a little flappy on the first night. The second night, I set it up with some self tightening guylines by clove hitching them to the stock lines. That night was the hardest rain and I hung out there for a few hours and everything was dry as a bone. I got up and came back the next morning to find it tight as a drum. The misting effect of the silnylon was there, but not NEARLY as noticeable, since the CF was overhead. The shorter coverage did not seem to be a problem either.
I still have not spent a full night under it, so when that day FIIINALLY gets here, I will do a real world review with actual photos.

edit: When I say heavy rain, I mean we got 3 inches that last night. The no seam overhead was much appreciated.

by the way, thanks again, D-P Dave, did you ever get my email about the backpack?

Sweet deal for your website. Found it somewhere around a year ago and thought your idea was a marvelous one. Thanks for the deal offer, might have to check it out.
