I've been playing with the idea of invading either Florida or Pennsylvania with SC hangers sometime next year. Could be awesome.

At the Smoked Butt Hang, I was talking to Missy Lou of UGQs about the possibility of some SC peeps going to the FL hang next year. In turn, they may try to come to the Frozen Butt Hang if we have that again, which hopefully we will. I think last years hangs were back to back weekends.

Just a note... seeing as we potentially could be doubling in size this year, I am planning to bring a set of loppers with me to assist with the removal of dead vines, limbs, and etc in an effort to achieve a few more convenient hanging spots. Should you find your ideal location but encounter some debris that can easily be removed, come find me.

We are also planning to keep the backside of the island uninhabited so as to provide a buffer to the residents who live by the island and also to provide an "Area 51" zone for where all can "Restore Their Comfort Levels" We will find a common tree where we will leave a full size shovel and a roll of TP for your convenience. If you happen to notice the shovel is missing, most likely Area 51 is occupied... Common courtesy should be practiced by all and if you are traveling with others that are not on this forum, please inform them of this concept.

Due to the number of kids we will have on the island this year, we would appreciate those that wish to enjoy an adult beverage to do so but conceal its identity either buy using a cup or a coozie. As stated in the initial post, individuals are responsible for their own behavior. We expect everyone to have a good time and enjoy themselves but remember that younger eyes can see and hear better than you think they can. Lets avoid any unwanted scenarios.

I unfortunately just got word I have to work not only Friday but Sunday also which pretty much kills my weekend...I was sooooo looking forward to meeting you all and hanging. Please keep me in the loop on future hangs, that way I can schedule vacation in time.

I was hoping you were going to chime in at some point and say you are coming. Having 2 boats, easier ride over to the island, good food... and now you have to work . I'll take care of your portion of the boil then
