    Help db size

I am going to be buying a db in the near future (when I can afford it)

I am looking for size suggestions from you guys. I am 5'11" 230lb, shoulders just over 23.5". I am not a weight weenie completely more a space weenie and a fan of comfort.

Could I get some opinions on width and length? Also I was looking at 1.1oz dl for the material... Maybe camo 1.0oz

If you don't mind the extra weight, go with the 11 foot. Most find them more comfortable. Standard width is typically fine, unless you have a reason to go more one way or the other.

A 1.0 DL should suffice, although you might want to consider a 1.1 DL.

Many DangerBird buyers in the 6ft to 6'2" range move to the 11ft.
    A 132 x 60ish would likely be a good choice.

I motorcycle camp so weight isn't my issue. I got uncomfortably closed in feeling with HHExplorer, so got a DB72. I really enjoy the interior space. I can sit up to doff or don shirts or sweaters. I could probably do with a DB60, but why? Dual layer crinkle taffeta is super comfortable and easy to insert layers of VB or insulation.

What's the packed size difference between the 10 and 11" and the wider hammock?

Also will the 11" fit under a superfly?

My 11' DB fits nicely under a Super Fly, if you are looking to hang a pack or items on the end of your hammock and want a bit more room, look for a tarp with a 12' RL... AHE maks a couple with a 12' RL.
