    Hey Mule,
Nice addition to the Blackbird! That is very sweet! Looks good, too.

How easy is it to get in/out of the hammock?
Have you tried it out in colder temps?

I'm liking the Blackbird design more and more. This could be a nice accessory for Brandon to add to his Warbonnet hammock line?

I've been tinkering with Brandon's version of a weather cover for the BlackBird for a couple of weeks now. It is very similar to skskinner's version pictured above, but with a sewn-in 'window' made of noseeum where skskinner has the adjustment flap. Even though it isn't adjustable, I haven't had any condensation issues with it yet.

Thanks, I will be trying it out in cold weather tomorrow night with Grizz and Dave in the Hoosier National Forest. Yes, it is not different getting in and out of the hammock because the zipper is still there. It only covers the bugnet. Mule

Ditto, except maybe for a month.

What's sad/funny is that I thought I was getting it wrong. I had never had any up close and personal experience with the HH overcover; just pictures. I thought it 'sealed' along the edges and I couldn't figure out how. So, I ordered one for my Expedition to get a look and low and behold, now I have 3 semi-functional overcovers for my BBs.

I don't think things are as complicated as I think they are.

great job mule that is one of those things I really really want and don't have time or the patents to do. Coming from a Clark back ground that is what I thought would make the BB even more awesome was a weather cover.

once again thanks for the great job.

Yes, when you get ready to make one you can make a pattern off mine and miss all that pinning and trimming. Soon I may post a layout of the pattern. Steve
