How about Hansen(dejoha)? I believe he is a veritable compendium of hammock camping knowledge, tips, tricks, and lore.

I'm not sure I'd put all those people in the same room. It would be far too dangerous for them to all be in one place. The world might well become unbalanced. There might be outages on the other side of the world!

Got Ed back in post #10. But I forgot the Jacks! How could I have forgot them, the inventors of the bridge hammock ( as far as a commercial product ) and not counting PeaPods maybe the inventor of the hammock UQ as a commercial product Plus at the least in a 3 way tie for inventor of the differential cut UQ ( along with Youngblood (Snugfit ) and WBG (Yeti)). Timing on that last one is hard to say for sure. And inventor of the UQP, with their original, oh can't remember the name of it, Storm shield?

Hey, I almost hate to say it, but needs to be here despite what some may think. His accomplishments can not be denied: Tom Hennessy. He is the reason I ever knew about a hammock for backpacking, and inventor of the HHSS, of which at least I am a major fan. He is for sure a pioneer in the camping hammock field. For example, look at the jack's early products which were designed for Tom's hammocks.

Oh wait, I see Ewker mentioned him bout 4 posts back!

The best list so far! If you had access to these in one room and a hammock for seven, who cares about all those others? Sorry guys!

I honestly don't think I could narrow it down to just six. The number of folks on here (past and present) who innovate in unusual ways is just too great to be narrowed down like that. I mean, we're pretty much watching the "locked room" phenomenon here on the forums already...well, minus the bread and water (and vitamins!)...
The "6" will "start" in a locked room. Then the posts will go out. In a week, there will be a large state forest somewhere hosting the next "Meet(ing of) the Minds" hang to "see" what can be done to.....
....oh, the humanity. Not..... enough...... parking.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you

Thanks, but I'd rather sit around a campfire with these folks than be locked in a room. Besides, FLRider said it best. We're all "in there" - you, too.

yeah I thought about whether I should list him or not for a while then I decided screw it and I did.
