    Zip is opposite the footbox.

No doubt about it. He has been more than helpful in answering questions I've asked recently, and I know he has a full plate.

Agreed on both counts. We had a little miscommunication over shipping times for my second blackbird, but that was his fabric supplier's fault more than his, and he was always quick to answer emails and keep me in the loop, and also made sure to rush my order out as soon as he got the materials, so I had it in time for a planned trip.

My fiance kept complaining she didn't have her hammock yet... I haven't decided if it was because she was cranky from sleeping on the ground, or if she was trying to get Brandon to give us a deal on a Yeti or Superfly

I almost feel like I missed out on the fun - it seems a lot of people experiment with several hammocks and try all sorts of configurations before they settle on the perfect one - my Blackbird is already perfect and it was my first hammock. I guess I'll just have to spend twice as much time playing with tarps

Seriously though, you couldn't find a better guy to order your gear from than Brandon. I am impressed, but not surprised, to see how quickly the Blackbird is becoming one of the most popular hammocks on these forums.
