    Getting tucked in your quilt

I have been working on two things lately, one is getting a setup I can sleep on my side in, and the second is this one, getting my top quilt to snug up around me when I am on my side.
I sewed channels of 1.0 ripstop onto my top quilt, it's a JRB Old Rag Mountain. Then I ran 1/4 inch braided elastic trough the channels and also thru the channel that was just a cinch cord for tying around your neck.
Now I can adjust the tension on all this and all I have to do while in any position is to rock away from the side I want to tuck in and rock back. I am good to go.
This elastic is way lighter in strength than bungee cord, and when I tie the elastic around my neck in a bow, I cannot feel any pull to speak of, it is so light. In fact I had to pull out about 1/4 of the elastic and set that length left in the channel with cord locks to get it to have enough pull to easily snug up around me.
    I like it.

Interesting solution, thanks for sharing. I find that having an extra-wide quilt helps me more easily keep it under me when on my side. But, this is nice too!
