Nothing special, just mod'd a bishop bag.

I got a Seatosummit XXS(2.5L) Ultra-sil stuff sack for my ENO DN. I decided to leave the attached stuff sack attached so I had another spot to stash things besides a ridgeline bag.

I made a hole by heating up a 1/4 nutdriver(3/8 in diameter) and melting the bottom of the bag. I added a 3/8 grommet to it

It was tight squeezing the rope through, but it worked.

    What a freaking great idea!

I have never used grommets. You just pound them together?

Yip, two separate sides to a grommet and they're pretty sharp. You just line them up on either side of the fabric and hammer them together. The OP burned a hole to make it a bit easier, but depending on the fabric, even that isn't always needed. They're pretty sharp on the edges and the pounding together creates the hole.

I considered doing that, but ended up sewing a button hole (the wife has a nicer thread injector that has a button hole feature) to create a bishop bag out of a stuff sack. Nice and easy! Whichever way it's done, it definitely reduces the possibility of losing the stuff sack.

The grommets kit comes with two grommet halves,a fabric punch and two bases to smash the grommets together.

I used the nutdriver so I could melt the fabric easier.

I agree with Fronkey, skipping the sewing can make the project faster....
