    I agree that outragegis is the best map, but be careful on the campsites shown on it. We had a ranger visit us and threaten us with a ticket since we were only about 200 feet off the trail, but the rules say 300. I showed him my outragegis map and he said about 80% of the campsites marked on it are illegal. Only the ones on the unofficial trails are legal.

    Thanks for pointing that out. The park service has really clamped down on illegal sites in the past few years of which I'm glad. There are quite a few sites right next to or in the middle of the trail.

    I'd be very interested in this special map. I'd like to get out and hang around KY more but I'm still testing my gear for actual use this early in the season. I love the gorge and would like to be able to spend more time there.
