I live on a farm, and wear these allday, everyday. these shoes will get very warm with friction when folded up. but folded down they are cool, comfortable, and not to mention you don't have to tie your shoelaces! These shoes are asa comfortable as hoese slippers, with a water proof shell. Although they are very heavy, and wear out about every two years...

Great shots! Beautiful countryside you have there.

Which ones do you have? We only have light snow here in places I'd be at, however it feels cold enough for me to want shoes better suited for cold.

Most of my gear is good enough for the weather, everything but my feet are good. Shoes wise I only have tennis shoes and some salmon boots. The Salomons are a little too small for wool socks.

Thank you, it's a cup hand carved by a guy named Alexander Yerks. A lot of time is put into making these, from harvesting the tree to carving, oiling, drying, and care. Overtime it will take color from things I drink such as coffee, so a few months from now it will have a nice patina.

Thanks for sharing the phots and your skill with the light catcher
    Thank you good sir.

The plant is a Yucca Whipplei, one of the coolest ones out here imo. It can make rope, soap, sandles, baskets, cups, fire, paint brushes, and parts of it during certain season can be eaten.

There were so many cool ice formations! Had my friend not been getting a little too cold and my feet numb, I could have spent a couple hours taking pictures of just ice. This was only my third or fourth time ever seeing even light snow, so my excitement was very high.

Shug your always welcomed to join me if your ever in the area. However I don't think our scenery is half as awesome as yours!

I'll be out here next week, this time with a hammock. And hopefully get to shoot a little bit of video.
