What to do with extra down???

I have about a pound left of 700ish fp down from my top quilt project. I've really been wanting to get an uq shell from underquilts.com, but I already have a 20* incubator. Should I get a shell and make a summer underquilt or would that be a waste? I just got the incubator so I don't know how it will vent in the warmer months. Btw, here's a pic of the top quilt.

Looks like a great top quilt... I think the shell idea is a good one... Also think about maybe a hat, maybe some down booties... Lots of options when you have that much down to play with...

I'll probably make a pillow. I didn't realize how heavy my therma rest pillow was until I got my new scale. But that still leaves me with a ton of extra down I'm not sure I could make a hat or sleeves. Seems a little out of my skill range.

+1 on the pillow, although you'll only need about 3 ounces for that.

You could make a partial length underquilt from the shell. That would give you some flexibility to go with something lighter and provide flexibility to your kit.
