    Doubling up on under quilts??

So the trip I am going on this coming weekend seems to be getting colder and colder. I run quite cold to begin with, but I really, really want to take my hammock set up. Lows look to be in the low teens, some forecast showing possibly as low as 5 Fahrenheit. I am thinking of bringing my full size 20 degree incubator and my 20 degree Phoenix, and a thin closed cell foam mat.
Has anyone doubled up on under quilts? I am pretty small so both under quilts come up quite high on my sides.
Do you think I can swing this, given that I do run cold? Oh, I will have insulating clothing as well...
    Thanks for the help.

You'll be fine. Try to stay out of the wind! I double up uqs, a three-season and a full length down. You probably won't need the foam pad, you might get a little too warm and sweat, which would be bad. Wear moisture wicking underwear. Try it without the foam first, and see if you need it, then you can add it.

Yes you can sometimes get to warm to a point that the down gets wet and looses snugliness and awesomeness. Sweating is as bad as being cold.

I set my friend Timmy up on a 0º trip with a JRB Hudson river as first UQ then my Frankenquilt under that. Parka around footbox. He was toasty and happy.

Should one put the full or 3/4 UQ on the outside?

I have a DIY UQ that gets me down to about 50, it's a 3/4 I put it on then my incubator. Works great!
