    Ripped Superfly?

    Hey Everyone,

I went for a day-trip/hang yesterday and after setting my Superfly, I noticed this spot.

I wasn't able to get my fingernail to catch on it, but I am wondering if this is the beginning of a rip.

Should I just seam seal it and go on my day?

    Thoughts?

    Thanks!

I just had this exact same issue
Couldn't get my fingernail to catch it either
To be safe I patched it anyway
Mine was silnylon so I went and purchased a silnylon patch kit
Peeled and stuck and now all is well again20201208_183440.jpg

Hi Peter, I’m by no means an expert, but I’ve had similar on heavier tarps and I’d personally be putting a tiny patch of tenacious tape on either face of it, seam sealer will obviously stop the water but taping it may help prevent it running any further.

    Thanks for the responses.

I talked to Warbonnet and they said not to worry about it, but if I wanted, I could add some seam sealer to it.
Ill probably buy a silnylon patch or tenacious tape as a backup, but I am pretty confident in their products, and their customer service has yet to steer me wrong.

Thanks for all of the tips! It will be nice to have some backup/emergency repair tools at the ready.
