Absolutely fantastic job on pics and report.i seen reflected on your back pack what did you use it for?
Great write up CB! I love H camp! We used to do camp C alot for group hangs but have been frequenting H. Did you get on the north loop any? I know a shortcut to H if you ever want to get in there the first night and settle in early.

Yep, kind of an H camp fan myself. The rock formations on the east side of the middle loop really make for an interesting hike especailly with all the ice and snow.
Thanks for the write up, makes me anxious to get back out there soon.

Couldn't agree more!
It's a sit pad I made, it's getting axed though in favor of a piece of Tyvek as a ground cloth that will also perform as my sit pad.
We should do a trip some time and you can show it to me.
I do love to read, just at home I guess. Nothing like hanging out on the couch listening to some Pietagorsky on Cello and a good book.
I love the views, they were good with foliage, even better without!
For sure CB! We'll get out there when it warms up.

Those photos seemed to be of a very nice trip. The last one was my favorite with the smooth water around the banks. I applaud your base weight. Thanks for the write up.
I also bring my Kindle Paperwhite out for most trips as it is lighter than just about any other book I could bring. It's got my novel of the (insert time to read here: ie. day/week/month), my Bible, and a backdoor way of getting to check the weather if I have 3G (though the backdoor is a pain). Winter I read the most and I find it more comforting than music in the woods.
I put kindle on my phone, which I always have on me. I just have to remember to download the book or books I want to read prior to getting beyond a decent signal.
Great TR! Love the images you captured.
