    Hanging in San Diego

My boyfriend recently introduced me to camping hammocks, and after spending a couple nights in his hammock, I knew I had to get my own. My hammock arrived today (a WBBB 1.1 dl found through the forums--thanks, breyman). Couldn't wait, so we hung it up indoors and I'm sleeping in it with the dog tonight! Judging by her snores and sighs of contentment, she loves it too.

Welcome from Tennessee, nara. Great pic of you and your dog. Looks like both of you have found a sweet spot in the hammock. Enjoy.

Glad the hammock's working well for you so far! I do LOVE the Warbonnet Blackbird. The only reason I sold it is that I had more than one and wanted to try out some other models from Dream Hammocks. I'll definitely be permanently keeping my other BB, though.

Beautiful side of the country, even better you are seeing it from a hammock.

Nice pic. Welcome to the forum from the BayArea. The west coast hangers are exotic species on this forum.

Thanks for the welcome! I'm in downtown SD, so not too far from you. Where are your favorite places to hang around here?

My boyfriend and I wanted to go camping this weekend, but it looks like it's going to be too cold—neither of us have underquilts or any good hammock insulation yet!

I have 2 stands you can keep... san diego county parks have a no tree tiring rule, so bringing a stand is required... turtledog stands are easy to make and carry.... only hanging spots are national forest.

    I work downtown.... near airport...
