Crawford Lake Hike on Snowshoes

We’ve been curious about potential “stealth” opportunities in on the trails around Crawford Lake Conservation Area for some time now and final got out for a little reconnaissance. It was a great day for a hike on the Bruce trail, there wasn’t a lot of snow but it was enough to break in a new pair of tradition Faber snowshoes (Christmas present). We stopped for midday break and a hang in the hammock chairs, during which, I field tested a new DIY Stove design I’ve been messing with. Crawford Lake has a reconstructed Wendat (Huron) Longhouse Village form the 1400's, had to get a couple of shots of that before calling it a day!
