I was introduced to hammock camping from the Scoutmaster in my Troop (I’m an Assistant Scoutmaster) . I was born in Brazil and like most people in Brazil I always had a hammock at home but somehow never thought of using for camping. (facepalm)
I found this forum about two months ago and I’m very happy to have so much great information in one place.

Welcome aboard from Florida. Planning on being back up in Maine for the summer and intend on hosting a couple of hangs on the property we stay on in the Frankfort area. Will be posting more info once up there. Looking forward to meeting and hanging with some of the New England forum family.
