I'm pretty simple, I haven't needed to dial anything really... I adjust it each time I use it, to the comfort I want at the time.

Kinda like how my bed has firm, and super soft pillows... I have no set like... It's just how I'm feeling that night. :banghead:

Not to harp, but paracord is not your best bet. Braid three strands together for safety just in case. Fancy rope is hard to find in Canada but good solid 1500-2000 working weight rope can be found at Home Depot for a good price.

Well a ridgeline isn't actually holding you up so it won't cause you to fall, but it kind of defeats the purpose of having a ridgeline if it's going to stretch... At that point you might as well just skip it.

My hammock is held up by cinch buckles with Para cord, it stretches the first night, then stops.

Ridgeline I tie with adjusting knots and I never measure it anyways, I guess with my eyes each time.

Same here... I'm considering moving to a hammock full time. I have to design some kind of rig.

Well. We talked more about it, I want adjustability if I switch hammocks I want to be able to switch height without problems.

We are going to take some 2x4s from the bottom to top plates of the corner wall studs.

I'm gonna put eyelets in about every half foot or so, unless I figure out a cool looking pulley system or something to make it adjustable from floor to ceiling.
