I second GI-JOE's assesment. After all, who am I to argue with a real American hero?
Bolds5: based on what I have seen around here, this may be the first SoCal hang beyond a small amount people that has got legs under it (apologies if this is incorrect). My hope is that it is something we can do annually like in other regions of the country but based on past performance I don't know if that is being overly optimistic.
I guess what I am saying is that you should probably get to getting while the getting is good and try to make it out.
Blue Jay is super-close to Murrieta (I live in Lake Elsinore). You just take Grand over to the 74, go up the hill for about 10 minutes, and get off the highway by making a right at No. Main Divide road for about 10 minutes. If traffic lights are kind it should take ~30 minutes... At least worth coming out to see what others are doing with their rigs.
Just my 2 cents
OK, after a Six year Ban by the United Nations, they removed my Breathalizer form my Computer, I'm all Good Now....
With that said, I was Fine Tuning my HH, Hammock, I was going easy today, kept it under a 30 pak, I don't want to say this out Loud, But.... I have left a message with Eddie Van Halen ! to come & Jamm with us at Blue Jay Camp Ground....
Now he has not gotten back to me Yet... But I am standing by the Phone...

off the subject a little bit, does anybody have experience with, the self inflating Klymit Static V sleeping pad, in underquilt is not in my budget on this trip, I think some sort of sleeping pad will be sufficient for this time around, anyway I like the collapse ability of, the Klymit Static pad.... ?
