Thanks Gary...Good to know it does have a core. I typically use either gray Lash It, orange Dynaglide or Lawson's orange reflective cord (this has a core as well) for non-suspension duties...though I do have orange Dynaglide whoopies on one of my hammocks...

I like using other colors as well but being a long time Oregon Duck fan I can't buy anything orange...not even line. I get physically ill at the sight of it.

Anyone know what exactly War Bonnet sells as their guy line? It just says Dyneema... I'm wondering if it isn't actually Zing-It.

The red 1.75mm Zing It is often very pink in color. I've had to return many rolls to Samson Rope. If they don't start sending us red that is red, I'm afraid we will have to discontinue its usage.

Just for the record...I'm not sure what Bailey's sold you but Fling-It does not have a core. It is an 8 strand twill braid that gives it a square cross section. The twill braid is probably why it doesn't open up well and is therefore difficult to splice.

Ok, I stand corrected it is not cored but a square cross section, long story short you can't do the normal splice like lash-it and zing-it you must use knots.
