Nice mod. I might have to do this to my single nest.

Well done. Inspired me to do mine. Not 5 minutes and the bag was removed. I will get grommets in the morning and soon will do my amsteel whoopies on the end. But for now the bag mod will do fine. Thanks again.

Double nest complete. Moving on the the single nest. I used a General Grommet Kit No.71262 in 3/8" (10mm) for about $10. It comes with everything including a punch. Which I heated on stove and melted a hole through bag and webbing. It turned out very nice.

I just used this to convert my double nest, my bug net , and my rain fly. Used a 1/2" grommet kit from local hardwear store and use gas BBQ to heat the included hole cutter. Worked great! ImageUploadedByTapatalkHD1422045412.520993.jpg

Awesome mod! And will work with my Grand Trunk Double, as well! Thanks for those who keep bumping this or I would not have found it!
