Keeping the "Piggies" warm in the hammock

So my biggest concern every winter season is keeping the feet warm while in the hammock. I've approaches this matter in many different ways, so it's time to hit the experts and get some true results. Any information on this matter is welcomed.

I make use of the down Booty Slippers I got at Goodwill for $4. Very toasty and weigh hardly anything. REI has them for about $20, but, about half the size of mine.

I have found that a very thin sock, then a bread bag, then a thick sock does the trick for me.

Down socks from Arrowhead over loose fitting wool socks. That's all you need to know.

Why in my state can I never find any good outdoor gear at goodwill?

I use 2-3 layers of smart wool hiking socks.

A big one for me is putting on dry socks, putting my down coat around creating a foot box and I have some socks I use for bed that are loose fitting. Never have had cold feet, coldest I've been so far in hammock is 17 degrees. I have also tried the hot water Nalgene bottle but I get too hot

I've got some of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Thermal-te...-/330550242224, I've only tried them in the house quickly but think they'll be great in a hammock.

I love my Goose Feet Down Booties keep my footsies nice and toasty warm. If it gets really cold Ill throw on a loose pair of expedition smart wool socks or lighter depending on the temps.
Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.

Chemical warmers like Grabbers. Work like a charm.
