wbrr drip loops on suspension triangle?

what have you guys been doing to prevent water from running down the amsteel suspension triangele on your ridge runner? Does it need a drip loop? (havnt been out in the rain yet)
FYI: If you want to know what type a certain bear is, sneak up behind it and kick it. Then,
run like crazy and climb up a tree. If the bear climbs the tree and eats you, it's a black
bear. If the bear just pushes the tree over and eats you, it's a grizzly bear : )

Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me, either, just leave me alone.

That loose piece of "string" that came with the RR is meant to be used as drip lines.

Definitely use drip lines on your suspension. Others have posted that water ran down the lines and would for sure in a hard rain. Just a safety item you need to do and doesn't had to the weight of anything. I put drip lines on all my hammocks.

Where, precisely, do you tie them? And how many?
I'm thinking one on each side of the suspension triangle, and one on each of the bugnet tie-outs (if tied outside tarp coverage area), so total 6 pieces...

Thank you for this info. I wondered what the heck that piece of cord was for!

You got it. If you're using the Cloudburst tarp, it has rings on the underside to attach the bug net lines so they're taken care of.

Several of us had no idea until Brandon set us straight in an earlier post.
