Do you park at the horse parking lot or across the street?

If you go just past the horse trailer parking on the left it should be the first right, turn in and start going up hill, if the gate is closed it won't be locked so you just have to open pull through and close it back. Drive all the way back and there is a big parking area and you should see some cars in the back right corner, that is where the campsite is.

Heh. You guys go light. We backpackers call that "car camping" Sorry, just had to say that.

I'm sure it will be a great time. I was "car camping" all last weekend - parked about 100 yards from camp atop a hill 200' above the road. We hauled our gear the 100 yards between the paring spot and camp in on ATV's. Winter Field Day last weekend.

Oh yea, its car camping. There are some trails to hike, about 23 miles all together. If you come and would like I could take you up to one of the trail heads and you can hike back into the camp site. Just love to get out, these sites are currently free to use and they provide firewood. Cant beat it

    Here are some directions

From Columbus area or there about
    -70 west to 75 south
-Take exit 52B to merge onto US-35 W toward Eaton
-Take the Gettysburg Ave exit, Turn left onto S Gettysburg Ave
-Turn right onto OH-4 S/Germantown Pike for appox 10 miles
    -Slight left onto Eby Rd
-Continue onto Franklin Madison Rd/Madison Rd (Eby turns into Franklin Madison Rd)
    -Turn left onto Chamberlain Rd
-Take the 3rd right onto Morningstar Rd

Will be approx 1/2 mile or so up on right, cant miss it, turn in and start going up hill, if the gate is closed it won't be locked so you just have to open pull through and close it back. Drive all the way back and there is a big parking area and you should see some cars in the back right corner, that is where the campsite is. About 100 yards or so back off parking lot, you can depending on snow and ice pull down close to camp site and unload and then park in parking lot

    From Cincy area

    -75 North
    -Take exit 38 for OH-73 toward Franklin/Springboro
    -Turn left onto OH-73 W/E 2nd St
-Continue to follow OH-73 W, Continue onto E 2nd St
-Turn left onto Miami Ave/Oxford Rd
    -Continue to follow Oxford Rd
    -Continue onto Franklin-Trenton Rd
-Turn right onto Franklin Madison Rd
-Take the 3rd right onto Morningstar Rd

This is coming in from the south side and you will go approx 1/2 mile and turn left into park and follow same directions as above.
